Separate or one in the same

Do you consider the original sailor moon anime and the DIC dub 2 Separate entities or one in the same ? I consider them 2 different shows because of all the changes that DIC made .

I would like to think of the dub as a separate adaption. I actually like a lot of elements of the old dub. As well as elements from the original. So I am happy to have both.
