The Japanese sailor moon musicals are something I have never been exposed to but I have been curious about them for a long time since there are over 30 of them and they seem to have a following.
Does anyone here that has seen any of them have a favorite or a couple to recommend to a newbie?
I remember reading that the first sailor moon musical wasn't that good but the later ones improved.
I was told they could be cheesy with the costumes and effects but this does not bother me because the 2003 live action sailor moon series had cheesy effects yet I still watched the whole series because I loved the story and character development so I am able to easily look past that in the musicals as long as the story and songs are good.
