I know Sailor Moon Crystal is already slated for 26 episodes which will cover the first two arcs of the manga but it seems up in the air if Crystal will be renewed past the initial 26 episodes it is slated for.
I honestly do not think Crystal will make it past the 26 episodes for another season.
The blu ray release in Japan premiered at only number 8 even with the animation improvements made.
Also it seems a lot of Japanese fans are not happy with Crystal and a lot of the hate for it is widespread.
I honestly hope to be proven wrong more than anything because I love Sailor Moon Crystal and want it to succeed but if I'm going to be honest then I have to state that based on what I've heard I have a feeling Crystal will end permanently after episode 26.
