Zordon's Rangers and their Identities

I was curious about something but I wonder if the citizens of Angel Grove were ever able to deduce who the prior Rangers were after the Space Rangers had exposed themselves in Countdown to Destruction.

Now we can assume Tommy's identity was not public knowledge because of his comments during Dino Thunder but what about the others?

I don't think they ever found out. Rangers would never reveal it themselves. The Space Rangers had no choice.

Bulk and Skull seemed to know that Tommy was a Ranger in "Forever Red".

They just worked for him. We don't know if they knew he was a Power Ranger.

I think the older Rangers would have kept their idenities secret to the public. Especially since we see a lot of them active again later.

Its funny how the Lightspeed Rangers had no secret identies. It was so different from all the prior seasons. Even the Galaxy Rangers never revealed their idenities in the end.

that could indeed be a possibility.

yes they did work for him even though it was Bulk's place since it was called Bulkmeier's but they were way too nervous around him for him to just be the owner of the place, the Boss of the place or whatever.
They were typically seen as being nervous around Power Rangers the majority of the time.

Not just Lightspeed either but it was definitely different indeed. Time Force (except for Eric) did have secret identities but they didn't keep them much of a secret once Wes' identity was revealed.

S.P.D. didn't have secret identities.
Mystic Force did have secret identities in the Human World but not in the Magical Realm but eventually the Human World found out who they were.
Overdrive didn't have secret identities.
RPM didn't have secret identities.

It seems more of the military organizations tend to be the ones that don't at least start out with secret idenities.

Speaking of the military... Does anyone find it strange that we never see them try and stop the monsters? I am surprised they don't attack the Rangers. Since they are vigilantes.

in the beginning I did find it strange since they weren't aware of Power Rangers but after so many attacks it's not a surprise since they just don't have the fire power to deal with such beings.

In the case of the military attacking the Rangers no I'm not surprise that they don't attack them since they're well aware that the Power Rangers are only there to defend the world and if that means killing monsters then they can't really do a whole lot to stop it since it's either you let the monsters live and they keep on killing people and destroying infrastructure or you destroy the monsters in order to prevent it. The military isn't going to know as much as the Rangers do in terms of who is attacking their world so they're going to trust on what the Rangers are doing is for the greater good.
