I'd say Mike's, Kendrix's, and Alex's "deaths" still count as death scenes. Since they we're thought to be dead at the time. Lets not forgot that Zordon died as well. Scorpius also got a pretty touching death scene.

Yup those also. But they undo a death it comes like nothing, but as you said the scene still counts.

It depends on how you do it. If you just bring the person back and its happily ever after with no consequences, it can cheapen the death. But lets look at each situation individually.

Mike's return was balanced by the death of the Megna Defender. By which point we we're supposed to care about him as a character. Alex's may have returned to life but we didn't return to the status quo in "Force For the Future". As Jen realizes that she loves Wes and can no longer be with Alex. Kendrix got the magical happy ending. But the Rangers had to fight to bring her back. And had to sacrifice their powers to bring her back.
