Uh... why is modeling a negative? Models are hired as actors all the time, they just look good on screen. Ricardo Medina Jr. was a male model before he became Cole on Wild Force.
Japan has a different culture than us, they don't have a problem with kids Googling bikini models. It's not like they're porn stars. |

Well, Gravure is a japan only thing here is def for it...
An art form popular in Japan whereby a pre-teen or teen female idol poses for clothed, semi-clothed, or nude pictures in various positions and costumes. The pictures are published in magazine form, called photobooks, featuring only this female model and no others. Gravure idols feature race queens and pop idols who who to achieve celebrity by selling their images I am just more neutral on this, on one hand, it is totally awesome seeing hot models like Ayumi Kinoshita in the role of Deka Yellow. But then again, it seems Disney keeps a more "cleaner" image for Power Rangers as they dont bikini/laddie models as actresses. But it does gives off a nice touch to satiate the dad/teenager crowd as the bishonen boys does for moms. |
